The twelve finalists will have their photographs professionally printed and framed by Tasmania’s premier fine art printers and long-time competition sponsor, Full Gamut, and exhibited at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery as part of Beaker Street Festival, open to the public until 31 August. New in 2021, all finalists will also be included in a Full Gamut online gallery, with the opportunity to sell prints.
The Judge’s Choice Winner will score a cruise for two with Pennicott Wilderness Journeys, and the People’s Choice Winner receive get a $200 printing voucher for Full Gamut.
This year’s competition will be judged by Cam Blake, celebrated Tasmanian landscape and wildlife photographer. He’s responsible for the beautiful image above, which features the endemic and endangered Tasmanian wedge-tailed eagle, Aquila audax fleayi.
