Zuhairah Dindar

I am a transdisciplinary marine scientist and artist based at UNSW Sydney. My research focuses on the production of the third most important greenhouse gas contributing to climate change, nitrous oxide. Specifically, I study nitrous oxide produced by the microbes living within marine invertebrates like sponges and ascidians, and what this means more broadly for temperate reef ecosystems and coastal greenhouse gas budgets.
