I study how biodiversity is shifting in a changing world. My research uses ecology, biogeography, and computer modelling to understand how species and ecosystems respond to climate change, human pressures, and environmental change through time. I am especially interested in predicting where species may move, which ecosystems are most vulnerable, and how conservation decisions can support more resilient futures. My work spans Australian biodiversity, past environmental change, threatened species conservation, and Antarctic ecosystems, with a focus on turning complex ecological data into practical insights for protecting nature.
