Beaker Street's annual Science Photography Prize is now closed for entries, but you can view the stunning album of entries here.
The Beaker Street Science Photography Prize accepts photographs that capture Tasmanian and Southern Ocean/Antarctic content, and which enhance scientific understanding.
Twelve finalist photographs will be exhibited at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, 22 August - 20 September, as part of Beaker Street Festival 2020. Half of our finalists are chosen by popular vote on our Facebook album - you can vote by "liking" as many photographs as you choose. Two winners (Judge's Choice and People's Choice) will each receive a $200 printing voucher for Full Gamut, Tasmania's premier fine art printers and our long-time competition sponsor, which will be preparing the finalist photographs for exhibition.
This year's competition judge is renowned Tasmanian landscape and wildlife photographer Cam Blake.
Check out his incredible work here.
