Category: Shows a Physical Process in Action
Every year, a remarkable spectacle unfolds as humpback whales embark on an epic migration to Antarctica from their breeding grounds in warmer waters. Tasmania becomes a stage for this majestic journey. With their colossal presence and innate navigational skills, these awe-inspiring creatures traverse the ocean with grace and purpose. Tasmania’s coastal waters serve as a vibrant pathway, evidenced by whale breaching and feeding. Witnessing the immense power and elegant movements of these gentle giants reminds me of the interconnectedness of our world and the enduring wonder of the natural cycles that govern their migratory voyage.
