I am a PhD researcher at the University of Tasmania studying space rocks. My work focuses on meteorites, ancient fragments of asteroids and planetary bodies that have fallen to Earth. These samples preserve records of geological processes that shaped the early Solar System more than 4.5 billion years ago. By analysing their minerals, chemistry, and textures, we can better understand how rocky planets formed, melted, differentiated, and evolved over time. This research helps reconstruct Earth’s early history and offers new insights into the formation and development of our Solar System.
