I am a conservation ecologist with a particular interest in threatened animals. As a PhD candidate at UTAS, I am investigating the impact of climate change on Tasmania’s alpine snow skinks. These reptiles are threatened by a warming climate, invading lowland species and potentially low genetic diversity. My research aims to inform the conservation management for these species and their habitats. I previously worked in remote Western Australia on the reintroductions of 10 native mammals, where my research focused on developing monitoring methods.
